Find out about the work we're doing for rail passengers around Great Britain
South West England
South West England is, by area, the largest region of England and extends from the Isles of Scilly to Gloucestershire and Wiltshire in the north.
First Great Western operates services throughout the South West, as far west as Penzance and as far north as Worcester. South West Trains operates services largely in the eastern half of the region, serving destinations including Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Southampton and Weymouth.
The Heart of Wessex Line runs from Bristol in the north of the region to Weymouth on the south Dorset coast via Westbury, Castle Cary and Yeovil. It is operated by First Great Western.
CrossCountry also serves the region, running services to Penzance and Bournemouth.
